Android versions and manufacturer differences

The basic shortcut is widely supported, but menus differ between Pixel, Samsung, and other devices. Capture more generally requires Android 12 or later and a compatible scrolling screen. Manufacturer-specific gestures are optional, not universal.

Edit and share your screenshot

Open the saved screenshot in Photos or Gallery to crop it and use the available editing controls. Review the image before sharing; long screenshots may contain information below the area you initially saw.
